The cult topographical inscription, in the form of a Geographical Procession on the outer walls of the sanctuary of the Temple of Horus at Edfu, owes its great importance to the detailed information on the elements of local theology and cult of the 42 ancient Egyptian districts. Including papyri that also contain this information, a complete translation and commentary of this inscription is presented.
